Quad-Lam Motor Rebuild and Conversions
Description:
If you have an original Aurora (Xcelerator) Quad-Lam Armature that no longer works,
and you would like it converted to a Quad-Lam that will fit in a T-Jet or AFX chassis you
can send it to me for the conversion. I will disassemble the armature, install a standard
T-Jet/AFX steel shaft, rewind it , and mount one of my new Commutator Plates on it. I
have a special 3.6 - 4.0 Double Wind much like the original Aurora Super II wind. I then
advance the timing ~3 degrees. This motor will go through all of my machining and
measuring processes and will be like new and ready for you to mount. These motors are
made to order. Because of the increased amount of work to build these armatures the
delivery time is slightly longer.

NOTE:  Make sure the armature lamination plates are not rusted, bent, or modified
in any way.

NOTE:  These motors are not for use in Auto World Chassis's.

rewound, you can send it to me. I will disassemble the armature, rewind it, and mount
one of my new Commutator Plates on it. I also machine and install a Delrin lower
bushing to properly center the commutator plate on it.  I have a special 3.6 - 4.0 Double
Wind much like the original Aurora Super II wind. I then advance the timing ~3 degrees.
This motor will go through all of my machining and measuring processes and will be like
new and ready for you to mount.
